Homocysteine is an amino acid that is broken down to create other compounds in your body. High homocysteine levels are commonly associated with elevated cardiovascular risk and a tendency for neurological disorders.

  • High: >15 umol/L
  • In Range: 5-15 umol/L
  • Low: <5 umol/L
